miso dressing

makes about 1 cupsaucy

ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons miso paste
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds
  • water, as needed

instructions

pour in a medium bowl, whisk together the miso paste, sesame oil, olive oil, rice vinegar, soy sauce, and honey until well combined. the minced garlic and continue whisking until smooth. pour in the toasted sesame seeds. adjust the consistency with a little water if the dressing is too thick. taste and adjust the seasoning, adding more vinegar for tang or more honey for sweetness, as desired.
