2025

i started cooking more seriously and spent the year building a collection of recipes that i enjoy. this site is a place to keep them organized and share the standouts. each recipe is something i made repeatedly, refined, or learned from as i figured out what my body could handle and what flavors made sense for me.

i have celiac disease and several other sensitivities, so a lot of my cooking comes from adjusting around that. early in the year i was still using nightshades and heavier spices. halfway through this year i realized they were making me sicker, so i shifted toward building flavor with herbs, clean proteins, natural sweetness, and simple ingredients. that shift shaped a lot of what you see here for this year.

i cook seasonally and try to buy most of my produce from the farmers market. my food changes with what is available, the weather, and where i am. the style stays consistent: clean ingredients, herb-led flavor, natural sweetness used for balance, and textures that keep a dish warm but not heavy.

my plan is to update this site annually with a new set of recipes. each year becomes a snapshot of how my cooking changed and what i was making at the time.
